Winter is Coming

Went for a walk around lake Nokomis yesterday. Much to Ripley's disapointment the ice was starting to take over the lake.

I've been scanning some old family photos to archive and frame. I came across this one of my mom and dad.
This was taken on Oct 4th 1969. There is something about the simplicity of this shot that I like. I can imagine the photographer saying "go stand in front that curtain, that will make a nice photo".
